Requirements to Become a Distributor
- Showroom & Space Requirement
- Minimum Area: 400 – 2,000 sq. ft.
- Front Display: 10 – 20 ft. of frontage for visibility
- Parking Facilities: Adequate parking for customer convenience
- Investment Requirements
- Initial Investment: Rs.5 – Rs.60 lakhs in electronic products and electric vehicles
- Electrical Load
- Minimum Electrical Load: 3-10 kW, as approved by the local electricity department
- Manpower Hiring
- The Franchisee is responsible for hiring and managing the showroom staff
- The option exists to request trained personnel from the Franchisor at the Franchisee’s expense
- Product Exclusivity
- The showroom must exclusively sell products provided by the Franchisor and cannot stock or sell competing products
- Stock Availability & Ordering
- The Franchisee must maintain a minimum of one unit of each product in stock
- Orders must be placed based on the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) specified by the Franchisor
Authorized Sales Channels:
- The Franchisee is authorized to operate through the following sales channels within designated district pin codes:
- B2B (Business-to-Business)
- Retail
- Government Supply
- Institutional Supply
Online Sales Rights:
- The Franchisee must adhere to the Franchisor’s guidelines and policies for online sales and e-commerce platforms
Marketing and Advertising
- Franchisee Responsibility: Local advertising and promotional activities
- Franchisor Approval: All advertising materials must receive prior approval from the Franchisor before use
- Benefits for Franchisee
- Attractive Profit Margins:
- Profit Margin: Franchisees earn approximately 40% margin on products sold
- Minimum Guarantee & Profits:
- The Franchisor guarantees a 12% return on annual sales. If this return is not met, the Franchisor will
- compensate the Franchisee (subject to adherence to agreement terms, including stock levels and operational standards)
- Marketing Support:
- National Advertising: The Franchisor handles national-level promotions, including TV ads, newspapers, influencer marketing, and brand ambassador campaigns
- Local Marketing Materials: Franchisees receive materials to support their local promotional activities
- Training & Support:
- Initial Training: Franchisees and their staff must undergo initial training to ensure effective showroom operations
- Ongoing Training: Continuous training to keep up with product updates and business operations
- Trained Personnel: The Franchisor may provide trained personnel upon request (additional costs may apply)
- Financial & Operational Risk Support:
- The Franchisee assumes financial and operational risks but will receive clear guidelines, operational standards, and ongoing support from the Franchisor
- Brand Image Protection:
- The Franchisee must follow the Franchisor’s brand guidelines to maintain consistency and protect the brand’s image
- Efficient Logistics:
- The Franchisor ensures a reliable product supply chain and offers guidance on logistics
- In case of termination, the Franchisor will support stock transfers based on the situation
- Sales & Performance Targets:
- Franchisees are required to meet sales targets and performance metrics, which could lead to adjusted terms based on performance
- Technology & Systems:
- Franchisees must use approved sales and inventory management technology, ensuring smooth operations and real-time reporting
- Customer Service & After-Sales Support:
- Franchisees must adhere to Franchisor’s customer service standards
- The Franchisor will handle all after-sales services. Franchisees must hire a service engineer, with the salary covered by the Franchisor
